In the darkness of domestic violence, a young mother and her 2 young children found themselves trapped, helpless, and afraid. Beaten and cast out with nothing, not even essentials for her babies, she faced the looming threat of death from her abuser. But in the midst of her despair, she found a beacon of hope in our intervention program. With swift action and unwavering support, we stepped in to provide a lifeline. Today, she stands brave, filing for divorce with our legal aid, determined to break free from the cycle of abuse. Together, let’s raise our voices against domestic violence, offering sanctuary and empowerment to those in need. Every story like hers deserves a chance for a brighter, safer tomorrow.
